MOTHER JONES BY E-MAIL

Contributors | March/April 2008

Contributing writer JoAnn Wypijewski ("The Final Act of Abu Ghraib") has covered all of the high-profile trials of the Abu Ghraib scandal. She's pretty sure she's the only reporter to have done so.

Matt Mahurin ("The Final Act of Abu Ghraib") has photographs in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. He's directed music videos for U2, Sting, Ice-T, and Metallica.

Former Mother Jones staffer Justine Sharrock ("Am I a Torturer?") has also worked for San Francisco magazine, Bitch, and Lip. She's writing a book about the homecoming of soldiers who engaged in torture.

Photographer Danny Wilcox Frazier ("Depth of Field") spent five years documenting the shifting zeitgeist of his native Iowa for his book Driftless. Contributing writer and editor of the Virginia Quarterly Review Ted Genoways knows his way around a silo.

Based in Mother Jones' Washington, D.C., bureau, Bruce Falconer and Daniel Schulman ("Blackwater's World of Warcraft") have both become avid readers of Soldier of Fortune magazine.

Michael Behar ("Mulch Madness") is a contributor to Outside, Wired, Men's Journal, and Popular Science.
